About Kat

One neighbor helping another.

I started Refresh with Kat because I believe where you live should feel like a relief, not a burden.

I've seen how one cluttered room can quietly wear a person down: a bedroom that's hard to move through, a living room that stopped feeling like a living room. I wanted to do something about that.

So I show up, pick one room with you, and we work through it together, sorting, donating, reorganizing, at whatever pace feels right. Every decision is yours. I bring the energy, the supplies, and a camera to document the journey.

Sharing these transformations on social media is what keeps the service free. Every participant signs a release before any filming begins, and you'll always know exactly what gets posted.

Nominate

Fill out our short form below. Tell us about the person and which room you have in mind: bedroom, living room, kitchen, wherever they need it most.

We connect

Kat reaches out within a week, to answer questions, learn more about the space, and walk you through exactly what participation looks like, including the filming process.

Sign the release

Before anything starts, you review and sign a media release so you know precisely what will be filmed, where it'll be shared, and what your rights are.

The refresh

Kat arrives and you work through one room together, sorting, letting go, reorganizing. Every decision is yours: what stays, what goes, what gets donated.

One room, completely transformed. Your story gets shared with a community that needs to see what's possible, and you get a space that finally feels like yours again.

Is it really free?
Yes, always. The service costs you nothing. Refresh with Kat is free because we document and share the transformations, that's the honest exchange, and we're upfront about it from the start.
Which room do we work on?
You choose. It could be a bedroom that's become hard to navigate, a living room that's lost its calm, a storage closet that's overwhelming, or any room that would make the biggest difference in your daily life. We focus on one room and we do it thoroughly.
Do I have to be on camera?
Filming is part of what makes this project sustainable, it's how we keep the service free. You'll review and sign a release form before anything is recorded. We work with you on what feels comfortable.
Can I nominate myself?
Absolutely, self-nominations are warmly welcomed. You know your home and your needs better than anyone.
Can a family member or friend nominate someone?
Yes! We would love to support and celebrate your loved in decluttering their space.
